Allene I. Bosworth

Lisbon- Allene I. Bosworth, 88, of Maple Street, passed away at 4:06am, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in the emergency room at the Salem Regional Medical Center.Mrs. Bosworth was born June 8, 1926 in East Liverpool, Ohio; the daughter of the late Frank A. and Virginia (Todd) Heddleston.A 1944 graduate of East Liverpool High School, Allene worked as a clerk at the former W.T. Grant Department Store and had also worked at Threshold Services. She was a former member of the Penn Ave. Methodist Church.Her husband, George R. Bosworth, whom she married September 7, 1946, preceded her in death August 1983. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Jo Jackson and her brother, Floyd Keith Heddleston. She is survived by her daughter, Traci Jones of Michigan; sons, George Ronald Bosworth, II of Lisbon, Hollie Bosworth of Arizona, Scott Bosworth of Michigan, Matthew Bosworth of North Carolina, and Calvin Bosworth of Lisbon; brother, David Albert Heddleston of Glenmoor; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.Following her wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.Arrangements are in the care of the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.Friends may view Allene's memorial tribute page and send condolences online at www.eells-leggett-stauffer.com To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Allene I.
