Lisbon- Charlotte May Crothers, 82, of Lisbon, entered into eternal peace at 5:24am, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Vibra Hospital in Boardman, following a sudden illness.Charlotte was born January 5, 1932 in Lisbon, a daughter of the late Garrett and Ruth Ann (Ruhl) Willis.A lifelong resident of Lisbon, she retired from D.W. Dickey and Sons/Agland Co-Op, Inc. after 35 years of faithful service. She was a devoted member of the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church, where she served on various committees.Charlotte also had previously served as a member of the Lisbon Cemetery Board and the Lisbon Historical Society. In her free time, she longed for the warm summer days, where she could spend time swimming at the Lisbon Pool with her friends. She also enjoyed her Wednesday morning "social sessions" at the Lisbon McDonalds. She was a loving mother and caring grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.She is survived by her five children, Wesley Crothers of Lisbon, Alton (Elizabeth) Crothers of Rootstown, Randall Crothers of Lisbon, Rachel Pierce of Salem, and Aura Lea (Joseph) Artle of Longwood, Florida. She also is survived by her eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, and one step great great grandson. She also leave behind one sister, Garrie Dickey of Mesa, Az., her niece, Joan Guy of Lisbon, who was like a sister to her, and a beloved lifelong childhood friend, Vida (Ray) Davies of Surfside Beach, SC.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Whitacre, Ruth Ann Pastore, and Helen Silverthorn.Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church with Rev. Cindy Carlisle, interim pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home and from 10am until the time of services Thursday at the church.The family also suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Paul T.
