Emogene Davis Logan

Toronto, OH- Emogene Davis Logan, 70, of Spring Street, formerly of Elkton, passed away at 5:35am, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville following a sudden illness.Mrs. Logan was born August 22, 1944 in Jamesburg, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Walter H. and Winnie L. (Ball) Knight.Emogene had worked as an assembler at Ventra, formerly Blackhawk Plastics, for over 30 years, retiring in 2000.In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts, traveling with her husband, gambling, and looking for treasures at yard sales.She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Logan, whom she married September 13, 2008; her daughter, Tammy (Rickey) Rosenbaum of New Waterford; her son, James Davis of North Carolina; step son, William J. (Tanya) Logan of Follansbee, WV; sisters, Lee Hauhn of East Liverpool, Opal Graham of Lisbon, Phyllis McIntosh of Georgia, and Wilma Jean Smith of East Palestine; and 4 grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Valley C. Davis; son, Walter Davis, brothers, Doy Lee Knight and Brad Knight; and sister, Pearl Genevieve Gilby.Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert DeLong officiating. Burial will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 11am until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to your local animal charities.
