Frances K. Possage

Lisbon- Frances K. Possage, 69, of Elkton Rd., passed away at 12:31pm, Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown following a week long illness.Mrs. Possage was born October 17, 1946 in Center Township, a daughter of the late Don U. and Irene (Lovejoy) Sowards, and have lived in the area all of her life.After attending Kent State University, Francis worked as an aide at the Robert Bycroft School for 26 years until retiring in 2009.She had attended the Calcutta Church of the Nazarene, and loved to grow and raise flowers.Francis leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Francis R. Possage, whom she married February 10, 1967, her daughter, Renee Smith and her husband, Tim of Lisbon; her brother, Don Sowards, Jr. of East Liverpool; and her granddaughter, Halie Smith.Funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Joyce Reynolds officiating.
