Glenn Joseph Obituary

Lisbon- Glenn A. Joseph, 81, passed away at 1:36 pm, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Salem Regional Medical Center following a recent illness.Mr. Joseph was born November 8, 1933 in Lisbon, a son of the late Garfield and Eva (Engler) Joseph, and had lived all of his life in the Lisbon area.He worked for 45 years as an enameller at Eljer's in Salem. He was also a Ferrier and bred, trained, and showed Tennessee Walking Horses. Glenn was also an avid golfer and member of the Thursday morning league at Eagle Pass golf course. His wife, Joanne Frances (Wilson) Joseph, whom he married February 23, 1952, preceded him in death November 1, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Hazel Meehan, Mary Flugan, Dorothy A. Brown, Pauline Brown, and Margaret Petry; and by his brothers, Frank A., Earl S., Roy G., Carroll M., and David L. Joseph.He leaves behind to cherish his memory daughters, Sharie Lynne (Stanley) Jones of Sacramento, California and Michelle (Scott) Long of Austintown; son, Glenn (Bonnie) Joseph, II of Columbiana; sister, Beverly Halverstadt of Oregon; brother, Ross Joseph of Salem; grandchildren, John Jones, Megan Beverly, Rebecca, Alan, Tracy, Kelly, and Cody Joseph; and great grandchildren, Carmen Phillips, Caden Clark, and Natalie Sachs.Following his wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.Arrangements are in the care of the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.Friends may view Glenn's memorial tribute page and send condolences online at www.eells-leggett-stauffer.com To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Glenn A.
