Louisa E. (Altman) Lombardo

Salem- Louisa E. (Altman) Lombardo, 92, of Blossom Lane, passed away at 11:20pm, Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.Ms. Lombardo was born September 6, 1922 in New Castle, PA, a daughter of the late Carl and Jennie E. (Houston) Altman and had lived in the Lisbon area for the past 25 years, coming from New Castle.She had worked as a cook at a nursing home around the New Castle area for many years and had attended the Harbor Full Gospel Tabernacle.She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl McCormick of Calcutta; son, Edward Lombardo of Newport News, Virginia; sisters, Louella Carbone and Loretta Llwellyn, both of New Castle, and Roberta Crum of Poland, Ohio; brothers, Mendell, Harold, and Harley Altman all of New Castle, Wendell Paul Altman of Missouri, Homer Altman of Tennessee and Orville Altman of Dayton; grandchildren, Stephane McCormick and Amber Westfall, both of Lisbon, and Anthony Lombardo of Georgia; great grandchildren, Kristin, Jayde, and Daimen McCormick, and Jazlynn and Alijah Westfall; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her former husband, Joseph Lombardo; brothers, Wilbur, Dale, and Lester Altman; sister, Audrey Occhibone.A celebration of her life will be held at 2pm, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Lisbon Eagles Aerie 2216, 127 East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, Ohio 44432Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home is assisting the family with her arrangements.Friends may view Louisa's memorial webpage and send condolences online at www.eells-leggett-stauffer.com To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Louisa E.
