Margaret J. McMillan

COLUMBIANA, OH - Margaret J. McMillan, known as "Nana" to her grandchildren, of Colonial Drive in Columbiana, passed away at 5:15 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Hospice House in Poland at the age of 81. She was born on January 26, 1933 in Wellsville, OH, a daughter of the late Abe and Wilma Patton. A lifetime area resident, she had worked at Farmer National Bank in Lisbon and later sold insurance. Margaret also worked in home health care until retiring in her 70's. She was a member of the Rogers Assembly of God. Preceding her in death on July 31, 2011 was her husband, Thyrel McMillan, whom she married on April 6, 1956. Surviving is a daughter, Jeanynne Marie Stover of Alliance; a son, Michael McMillan and his wife, Donna, of East Palestine; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. Tuesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev Pedro Paniagua officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery.
