Patricia A. Floding

Lisbon-Patricia A. Floding, 75, of East Liverpool Rd., passed away at 8pm, Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Vista Center following a recent illness.Mrs. Floding was born October 26, 1938 in Sharon, Pa., a daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Vogel) Aaron.Patricia worked as a secretary and clerk for various organizations, including U.S. Steel, Sharon Steel, and lastly for the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg.She was baptized at the Church of Christ and was a former member of the Greenford Christian Church, where she was involved with the Christian Women's Organization. Patricia was also a former member of the Columbiana County Historical Society and she was responsible for the initial purchase of the property which in now Hellbender Bluff Park.She is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband, Donald R. Floding, who she married June 3, 1966; daughter, Larae Vandeberg of Richmond, Virginia; son, Joel Floding of Steubenville, Ohio; brother, Paul G. Aaron of Fowler, Ohio; and 8 grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Diane Aaron and brother-in-law, Ernest Neal "Bud" Call.A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the fellowship hall of the Virginia Ave. Church of Christ, 116 California Ave., Chester, WV 26034.
