Trent Allen Blackburn

Hanoverton- Trent Allen Blackburn, 20, of Willard Rd., passed away peacefully at 2:39am, Monday, June 23, 2014 at University Hospital RB &C in Cleveland following a courageous battle with cystic fibrosis.Trent was born July 1, 1993 in Akron, Ohio, the son of Kenny and Cheryl (Ridgeway) Blackburn.He was a member of the Fellowship of the Beloved Church, where he participated in many church activities. Trent also loved riding on 4 wheelers.In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sister, Jenna Blackburn of Hanoverton; his maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Agnes Ridgeway of Hanoverton; his paternal grandparents, John and Margie Blackburn of Salineville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Fellowship of the Beloved Church with Pastor Rick Lautzenheiser officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethesda Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 5pm to 8pm, Wednesday at the church and from 10am until the time of services Thursday at the church.The family also requests that flowers be omitted and that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in care of the Fellowship of the Beloved Church, 13696 Bethesda Rd., Hanoverton, Ohio 44423.The Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home is assisting the family.Friends may also view Trent's memorial webpage and send condolences online at www.eells-leggett-stauffer.com.
