William J. Rudibaugh

Lisbon- William Rudibaugh, 84, of North Avenue, passed away at 1:44pm Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.Mr. Rudibaugh was born December 6, 1930 in Salem, a son of the late William Mazine and Velma (Clappsaddle) Rudibaugh.William was a steel hauler and truck driver by trade. He worked for Natural Gas of WV, Elkton Auction, Groner of Salem, Wellsville Feed and Supply, and retired in 1998 from McGaughey Brothers of PA. He was a member of the Elkton United Methodist Church, were he taught and was the superintendent of the Sunday school. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike, Honda scooter, snowmobile, and his old Durant car. In his younger days he broke and rode horses. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #377 and #249, the Tri-State Antique Automobile Club and the Tri-State Snowmobile Club. Mr. Rudibaugh proudly served our country as a member of the army during the Korean War.He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (McCord) Rudibaugh, whom he married June 12, 1951; daughters, Deborah (Craig) Green of Belleview, Denise (David, Jr.) Pethtel of Negley; son Michael (Karen) Rudibaugh of Lisbon; grandchildren, Elisha, Ryan, David, Wesley, Nathan, Lindsey, Aaron, Wyatt, Cameron and Leanna; great grandchildren, Seth, Travis and Jacob.In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister Eila Rae Westover.Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Ashley McMillian officiating.
