Kathryn Ann" "Kitty" Flugan

Lisbon-Kathryn Ann “Kitty” Flugan, 77, passed away in her sleep, Thursday, March 14th at her home.

Kitty was born December 23, 1946 in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late Thomas Lewis Heddy and the late Catherine Louise (Brown) Heddy, and had lived most of her life in Lisbon.

She was a beautician and owned and operated the Happy Clipper beauty salon in Lisbon.

Kitty loved her family and proudly raised them in what she considered her hometown, Lisbon, and will be happy to reunite with the ones that passed before her, and she will be waiting for us.  She was a hard worker and took great care of her business and her many customers.  Kitty was also a member of the Lisbon VFW.

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Lisa Dawn Flugan and Lisa’s half-brothers, Jesse and Brian Flugan; her sister, Jerry Lynn Ellis; granddaughters, Sunny Dawn Noble, Sara Alexis Stewart, and Susan Elizabeth Stewart; and companion, Jeff Arter.

In addition to her parents, Kitty was also preceded in death by her sons, Eric, Thomas and Matthew Flugan; and siblings, Nancy Jo Jung, Sam Heddy and Daniel Heddy.

A celebration of Kitty’s life will be held from 1pm to 4pm, Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the Lisbon VFW Post 4111, 210 East Lincoln Way, Lisbon.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
