Sharon Rose Faust

Lisbon- Sharon Rose Faust, 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at her home.

Sharon was born April 1, 1943 in Perry County, Ohio and was the daughter of the late George Melvin and Ruby Alice (Housholder) Bell.

A 1961 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High school, Sharon furthered her education and earned her Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Capital University. She then worked as the music teacher in the Beaver Local School District, sharing her love and appreciation of music to many students, until her retirement.

Sharon was a faithful member of St. George Catholic Church and she enjoyed reading poetry.

Her husband, Charles W. “Charlie” Faust, whom she married December 18, 1977, preceded her in death December 1, 2020.

She is survived and will be fondly remembered by her nephews, Scott (Julie) Bell and their sons, Joshua and Joseph Bell, and Todd (Susan) Bell and their daughter, Anna Bell; and her sister-in-law, Frances Bell.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Sharon was also preceded in death by her brother, Lowell Melvin Bell.

A memorial service will be held at 11am, Friday, March 22, 2024 at St. George Catholic Church, 271 West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, with the Rev. Father Stephen Wassie officiating.  Interment will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends from 10am until the time of services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. George Catholic Church, 271 West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, Ohio 44432.

The family would also like to say a special “Thank You” to Pam, Alayna, and Leah and the rest of the staff from Visiting Angels of Salem for all of their care and compassion shown to their aunt.
