Cecil O. Ullom

Cecil O. Ullom? Lisbon- Cecil Otto Ullom, 85, of State Route 164, passed away peacefully at 3:40pm, Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Vista Center following a brief illness. ??????????? Mr. Ullom was born February 28, 1923 in Lisbon, a son of the late Otto Cecil Ullom and Jessie Louise (Bell) Ullom, and had lived his entire life in the Lisbon area. ??????????? He was a Jr. High School teacher in the Crestview School District for 17 years.? He also worked in the foundry and farmed the family farm. ??????????? Mr. Ullom attended the Lisbon Assembly of God Church and was a former member of the Highland Christian Church. ??????????? He also served his country as a member of the United States Army and Army Reserves, serving during peacetime. ??????????? He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Marjorie (Driscoll) Ullom, whom he married August 20, 1953; sons, John (Wanda) Ullom of Ormond Beach, Florida, Robert Ullom of Lisbon, and James (Cheryl) Ullom of Waverly, West Virginia; and grandchildren, Amy, Theresa, Thomas, Shawn, Nathaniel, and Brandon Ullom. ??????????? In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Stockman, grandson, Christopher Ullom; and half brothers, Charles Jones and Carlis McGaffrey. ??????????? Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Milton Butler officiating.?
