Marian June Tucker

Lisbon-Marian Tucker, 92, formerly of East Pine Street, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at Allay Senior Care.Mrs. Tucker was born September 21, 1926 in Hammondsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Bernice (Ingledue) Woods.A 1944 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, Marian entered the U.S. Nursing Corp. in 1944 and graduated from the Salem Hospital School of Nursing in 1947. She was a Registered Nurse working at the Salem Community Hospital for many years, as well as the Columbiana County TB Clinic and was the nurse for Dr. Karl Ulicny in Salem.She is survived by her daughters, Sandi (Greg) Apple of Lisbon and Sheryl L. (Charles W. Bennett) Tucker of Santa Fe, New Mexico; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Stratton of Florida, Leanne S. Corbi of Canton, and Esther Tucker of Columbiana; grandchildren, Kevin Apple and Brian (Michelle) Apple, both of Boardman, and Evan Tucker Simmers of Canton, Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews.Her husband, John Thomas Tucker, who she married September 10, 1949, preceded her in death June, 25, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth "Bud" and Richard Woods, and by her sister, Doris Kelton. Private graveside services will be held on Thursday at the Lisbon Cemetery Chapel with Dr. Rev.
