Richard Polito?Lisbon- Richard Thomas Polito, 52, of State Route 164, passed away at 9:45 am, Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Hospice House following a lengthy illness. ??????????? Mr. Polito was born October 31, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late Thomas Polito and Rosemary (Tieman) Polito of Pittsburgh, and had lived in Lisbon the past 23 years. ??????????? He was a member of St. George Catholic Church and worked for the RT Vernal Paving Company of North Lima for 23 years. ??????????? Mr. Polito was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. ??????????? He is survived by his son, Scott Polito of Atlanta; stepson, Tim Moore of Atlanta; sister, Kathleen (Earl) Rorer of Pittsburgh; brothers, Thomas A. Polito of? North Carolina, Gregory Polito of Hillsboro, N.C., and Donald Polito of Pittsburgh; and close friends and caregivers, Larry and Janine Welsby of Wellsville. ??????????? A memorial mass will be held at 1pm, Saturday, March 1, 2008 at St. George Catholic Church, 271 West Chestnut Street, Lisbon with the Rev. Robert Edwards officiating.? Burial will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pittsburgh at a later date. ???????????
