Lisbon-Ronald G. Mills, 80, of State Route 517, passed away at 3:21pm, Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Salem East Healthcare Center.Mr. Mills was born January 14, 1939 in Lisbon, a son of the late Emil Drove Mills and the late Wilma Marjorie (Morris) Mills and had lived in the Lisbon area all of his life.He proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Army, serving in Beirut, Lebanon.Ronnie drove school bus for Robert Bycroft Schools for many years and worked for Elkrun township for 30 years and faithfully served the residents of Elkrun Township as a township trustee for 20 years. He was also a member of the Lisbon VFW Post 4111 and had worked at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds for 20 years.His wife, Loretta (French) Mills, whom he married August 30, 1964, preceded him in death May 29, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Josh Quetot; his sister, Barbara Thoman and 5 other siblings.He is survived and will be dearly missed by his daughter, Paula (Bob) Quetot of Rogers; son, Ronald "Butch" Mills, Jr. of Lisbon; sister, Cheryl Mills of Lisbon; and brother, Lloyd Mills of Lisbon; grandchildren, Jessica (Cody) Stephens and Bobby (Bethany) Quetot; great grandchildren, Aubrie, Levi, and Joshua A. Quetot, and Kerrie Stephens; as well as many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with his grandson, Bobby Quetot officiating.
