West Point-Ruth A. Vietmeier, 90, of West Point, passed away peacefully at 12:30pm, Friday, September 21, 2018 at her home.Mrs. Vietmeier was born October 31, 1927 in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Alfred and Lucille (Smith) Hauss. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo J. Vietmeier, her son, Jeff Davidson, and her nephew, James Vietmeier.Ruth was a homemaker and Catholic by faith.She is survived and will be dearly remembered by her sons, Jerry (Christine) Roseberry of Georgetown, Kentucky and Greg (Rita) Davidson of Edge Water, Florida; as well as her caregivers who quickly became family, Vicky Grindle, Joyce Grindle, and Jason Grindle.Following her wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.Arrangements are in the care of the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.Friends may also view Ruth's memorial tribute page and send condolences to her family at www.eells-leggett-stauffer.com To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ruth A.
