Catherine Jo "Cathy" Pickens

Lisbon-Catherine Jo "Cathy" Pickens, 67, of Thomas Rd., passed away at 3:03pm, Monday, May 21, 2018 at University Hospital in Cleveland following a recent illness.Mrs. Pickens was born August 16, 1950 in Salem, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Rose (Vaughn) Faulkner, Sr.Cathy worked as a secretary and office manager for 15 years at Global Pak, Inc., retiring in 2015. Prior to this she worked at the former Salem Convalescent Center.She attended the Lake Mount Church of Christ and enjoyed making quilts, hard tack candy, and tending to her flower gardens, but her true joy was her family and her grandchildren.She is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband, Adam M. Pickens, whom she married May 25, 1984; her daughters, Danyelle (Keith) McReynolds of Murfreesboro, TN; sons, Robert John (fiancée, Alice Simms) Marriner, III of Lisbon, Christopher (Heidi) Marriner of Hubbard, and Gregg (Jessica) Marriner of Lisbon; grandchildren, Seth Marriner, Sierra Marriner, Stacia Windland, Conner McReynolds, Cade McReynolds, Callen Adam McReynolds, Brittini Duris, Amanda (David) Wright, and Kaila DiMaggio; great grandchildren, Madison and Kylee Marriner, Annie, Mia, Erika, and Andrew Duris, and Davien Wright; her former daughter-in-law, Sharon Chidester; five siblings; and many other family members and friends.In addition to her parents, Cathy was also preceded in death by her son, Adam Mark Pickens and by her daughter, Jodi Lynn DiMaggio.Following her wishes, no public calling hours were observed.
