Charlotte E. Reinke

Salem- Charlotte E. Reinke, 83, formerly of Lisbon, passed away peacefully at 12:45am, Monday, January 21, 2019 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Mrs. Reinke was born June 2, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pa, a daughter of the late Elmer William and Charlotte (Freeman) Trost, and had moved to Lisbon in 1964 and had lived here until moving with her late husband to Florida in 1989. She returned to the Lisbon area in 2000.A member of the Lisbon First United Methodist Church, she worked as a waitress, having worked at Pondis, the Wick Hotel, the Pinetree, Cambridge Inn, the Saratoga, and Red's Log Cabin. Charlotte also had worked at the Tobin Center.Her husband, Ohio State Highway Patrol Sergeant Howard R. Reinke, whom she married April 13, 1957, preceded her in death January 7, 2000.Charlotte is survived and will be dearly remembered by her daughters, Linda (Bob) McCamon of Malvern, Charlotte (Tom) McEwen of Atwater, and Christine (Allen) Cottrill of Lisbon; grandchildren, Tommy (Jennifer) McEwen, Katie McEwen, Aaron (Victoria) McCamon, Kyle (Ashley) Reinke, and Sierra Cottrill; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Baldwin.In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandson, Brian McEwen and her brother, Donald Trost.A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev.
