Constance A."Connie" Bricker

Salem- Constance Anna Morgan "Connie" Bricker, 102, passed away peacefully at 7:55pm, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Mrs. Bricker was born January 11, 1917 in Butler Township, a daughter of the late James Edwin and Louise (Burton) Morgan and had lived all of her life in the Columbiana County area.Following High School, Connie received an associate degree from the former Salem Business College. A homemaker, she also worked as a secretary at Mullins Manufacting, Catholic Charities, the Visiting Nurses Association. And at the age of 91, continued as a secretary with the Columbiana County Senior Aide Program.She was a faithful member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, where she had sung in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Willow Grove and Mt. Nebo Granges for more than 80 years and a former member of the National Grange, which she joined in 1955.Her husband, Frank Eli Bricker, whom she married January 15, 1938, preceded her in death September 22, 1988. Connie was also preceded in death by her son, Duane M. Bricker; sister, Virginia Phillis; and granddaughter, Ginger Bricker.She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Judith "Judy" (Karl) Bott of Columbiana and Martha (William) Skeels of Lisbon; her son, James "Jim" (Linda) Bricker of Salem; her daughter-in-law, Kathryn E. Kuhn of Caladonia, Michigan; her half-brother, John A. (Yvonna) Hawkins of Grand Rapids, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and 2 step great granddaughters.A memorial service celebrating Connie's life will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, 5219 Saint Jacobs Logtown Rd, Leetonia, OH 44431 with the Rev. Steven Johnson officiating. The family will receive guests from 10am until the time of services at the church.
