Dallas B. Rupp

West Point- Dallas B. Rupp, 87, of State Route 518, passed away at 5:30pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Salem Regional Medical Center.Mr. Rupp was born March 6, 1931 in Lisbon, a son of the late Dallas M. and Ellen (Nevling) Rupp and had lived in this area his whole life.Dallas was a 1949 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Rupp retired from NRM in Columbiana and was an insurance agent and operated the Rupp Insurance Agency in Calcutta.He was a member of St. Agatha's Catholic Mission Church, the Knights of Columbus, a charter member of the West Point Fire Department, the Glenmoor American Legion and the Lisbon Grange.Dallas is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife, Beatrice (Kosko) Rupp, whom he married on Oct. 6, 1951; his daughters, Kathi (Joe) Pease of Calcutta, Karen (Ron) Wathey of West Point and Kris Rupp of West Point; sister, Mary Lou Harrold of Culpepper, VA; grandchildren, Becki Hilditch and Brian Pease of Calcutta, Brent Pease of Lakewood, Nathan Wathey of New Albany and Anna Madison of Leetonia; great- grandchildren, Parker and Sophia Pease, Laci, Bria, Matt and Josh Hilditch and Emma Madison.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Spring and his step-brother, Leonard Hickman.A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am, Monday, April 23, 2018 at St. Agatha's Catholic Church, with Rev. Stephen Wassie and Rev. James Lang officiating.
