Harold Cusick Obituary

SALEM - Harold "Dean" Cusick of Hanoverton went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife, Sunday, February 19, 2017. Harold was born on August 23rd, 1944 in Lisbon, Ohio and was the son of the late Paul Henry Cusick Sr. and Wilma Tresa Seevers Cusick. Known to everyone as "Dean", and for his many years of playing Country Music, he was known for his performance with "Country Westerners", "Country Sound Express", "Lazy River Band", "Northern Prairie Dogs", and the most recent "Rough Edges." Dean was an avid golfer, loved fishing, and most of all "Bingo". He was a retired machinist from The Crane Deming Pump Company in Salem, Ohio. Dean's number one fan and beloved wife of 52 years, Anita Louise Harker proceeded him in death on July 4th, 2015. They were married on February 29, 1964. Wherever he was performing, you would find Anita sitting nearby listening and smiling. Their song of choice, "Look at Us", was what he sang to her each night.Dean is survived by his loving children, Mark H. Cusick, and wife Deborah of Austintown, John F. Cusick and his fiancée, Tracy of Lisbon, William "Bill" Cusick and his wife Shelley of Lisbon, and his only daughter and caregiver, DeAnna M. Greier and her husband Robert Greier Jr. of Hanoverton. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, known by them as "Pappy."Dean also is survived by his siblings, brothers, Paul Cusick and his wife, Sarah of Steubenville, Dale Cusick and his wife, Betty of Columbiana, John Cusick and his wife, Bonnie of Lisbon, and his two sisters, Jane Wright and Lucille Drummond, both of Lisbon.Dean was also preceded in death by his brother Donald Cusick and a great-granddaughter Jessica Dawn.A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene on with the Rev.
