Judith "Judy" Blackburn

Massillon, OH- Judith "Judy" Blackburn, 75, formerly of Lisbon, quietly passed away at 8:03am, Tuesday, August 22, 2017.Judy was born February 11, 1942 in Canton, a daughter of the late William and Winnie (Buchanan) Johnson.She was a 1959 graduate of Perry High School and a 1963 graduate of Mount Union College. Judy was a school teacher at McKinley Elementary and was a member of the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church.Her husband, Edward Scott Blackburn, whom she married in November 1962, preceded her in death.Judy is survived by her daughters, Laura Blackburn and Beth Blackburn; son, Scott (Kim) Blackburn; grandchildren, Brett, Chadd, Scott, Audri, Saraia, and James; and great grandson, Bryce.No formal calling hours will be observed at this time.Private funeral services will be held at the Lisbon Cemetery Chapel at the convenience of the family.Friends may also view Judy's memorial tribute page and express condolences to the family at www.eells-leggett-stauffer.com To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Judith "Judy" Blackburn please visit our Sympathy Store.
