Lavina "Nina" Hall

Leetonia- Lavina "Nina" Hall, 96, of Old State Route 344, passed away peacefully at 1:30pm, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her home following a lengthy illness.Mrs. Hall was born November 8, 1919 in Salem, a daughter of the late Harry and Ida (Stockman) Zimmerman. She was a homemaker and had lived in the area all of her life.Her husband, Roland O. "Red" Hall, whom she married March 14, 1940, preceded her in death April 2, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Harry, William, Albert, Arnold and Ben Zimmerman, her sister, Mary "Mitz" Schuller; grandson, Rodney Hall; and great grandson, Danny Bell Chambers. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Kayo) Bell of Lisbon and Marjorie Cross of Salem; sons, Roland "Ronnie" (Susan) Hall and Michael (Dawn) Hall, both of Leetonia; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandsons.A memorial visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Franklin Square United Methodist Church, 37615 State Route 558. A short prayer service will be conducted by Rev. Steven Kenneally.
