Guilford Lake- Patricia A. "Pat" Oesch, 89, of Votaw Blvd., passed away peacefully at 4:55pm, Monday, March 4, 2019 at Brookdale Senior Living in Salem.Mrs. Oesch was born April 10, 1929 in Lisbon, a daughter of the late Clifford and Zelma Arter, and had lived most of her life in Alliance before moving to Guilford Lake in 2001.Pat was a Registered Nurse and worked at Alliance Community Hospital before becoming an industrial nurse at American Steel in Alliance, where she retired.Mrs. Oesch was a former member of the United Presbyterian Church of Alliance; was an avid crafter; enjoyed sewing; gardening, boating on Guilford Lake; and socializing and picnicking with her friends and family at the lake. She also loved birds and her cats.She is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving husband of nearly 68 years, Robert E. "Bob" Oesch, whom she married April 1, 1951; daughter Dawn (Art Sobczak) Gerz of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Jason Gerz of Strongsville, Ohio and Jada Gerz of the University of Pittsburgh; son-in-law, Randy Krause of North Royalton, Ohio; and her very dear cousin, Kay Ryan of East Liverpool.In addition to her parents, Pat was also preceded in death by her daughter, Melodie Krause; and her brothers, Jack and Orlan Arter.Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home, 215 West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, Ohio with Chaplain Daniel Tayman of Ohio Living Hospice officiating.The family will receive guests from 11am until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.Friends may also view Pat's memorial tribute page and send condolences at www.eells-leggett-stauffer.com To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Patricia A.
