Alice J. Bryan

Lisbon-Alice J. Bryan, 80, of Eagleton Rd., passed away at 3:30pm, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at her home. She was born May 10, 1934 in Lisbon, Ohio; a daughter of the late Joseph S. Burkhart and the late Lydia Louella (Bush) Howell, and had lived in Lisbon since 1969.A 1953 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, Alice had worked as a waitress at several local restaurants. She was a member of the Lisbon First United Methodist Church; Church Women United; and was a past officer at the Lisbon Eagles Aerie 2216 ladies auxiliary and the Wilfred J. Clunk VFW Post 4111 ladies auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Paul Bryan, whom she married July 1, 1978; daughters, Donna (Gary) Ward and Elizabeth "Liz" (James) Lander, both of Lisbon; sons; Scott (Jean) Bush of Adamsville, Ohio and Lawrence (Mary Lee) Bush of Spring, Texas; grandchildren, Jaime, Lee, Leah, Brennah, Joshuah, Lyndsey, Patrik, and Ehrik; and great grandchildren, Maura, Mason, and Henry.Alice was preceded in death by her first husband, Lynn A. Bush; daughter, Kathy Mix; and sister, Helen Mountz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Tina Gallaher officiating.
