Ann Arbor, MI-Annetta Conway, 101, formerly of Lisbon, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 31, 2026 with her loving family at her side.
Mrs. Conway was born November 10,1924 in Lisbon, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Spadaro) Ieropoli.
Annetta was a homemaker who proudly worked as a payroll clerk at American Vitrified for a little over 10 years.
She was a faithful member of St. George Catholic Church and was a Charter member of the Lisbon VFW Post 4111 ladies auxiliary.
Annetta is survived and will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 69 years, Robert W. Conway, whom she married October 13, 1956; children, Rita (Stewart) Skomra and Rob (Kathy) Conway; sisters Kathryn (John) Arsuffi, and Mary Jane (Ronald) Mutton; grandchildren, Ryan Conway, Megan Bowsher and Troy Skomra; great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Annetta was also preceded in death by her brothers, Nick, Carman and Joe Ieropoli; sister, Lena Siciliano; and grandson, Trent Skomra.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am, Thursday, April 9, 2026 at St. George Catholic Church with Rev. Father Robert Lanterman officiating. Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends from 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
