Brenda Rae Lyon

Guilford Lake, OH – Brenda Rae Lyon, 59, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born May 24, 1965, in Canton, daughter of the late Arthur Whitehead and Evelyn (Coulter) Whitehead.

Brenda was a homemaker who took great pride in taking care of her children. She was Protestant by faith. She enjoyed her family and friends, having an annual 4th of July Reunion at the lake, where she truly enjoyed living. Her grandchildren were her life. She loved motorcycles and yard sales.

Survivors include three daughters, Sarah (Jonah) Lyon, Tamara (Danny) Whitehead and Tiffani Warne; two sons, Kyle Lyon and Colton Warne (her grandson whom she raised); three siblings, Shawn Whitehead, Kim (Michael) Finnegin and Kevin Whitehead, and 17 grandchildren.

Besides her parents, a son, Brandon Lyon also preceded her in death.

Friends and family will be received from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
