Lisbon- Bruce W. Carman was taken by the good Lord to his heavenly home while he slept in the early morning hours on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was 62 years old.
Bruce was born July 27, 1962 in Salem, a son of Nola (McClintock) Carman and the late Gerald “Jerry” Carman and had lived all of his life in the Lisbon area.
A 1981 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, Bruce was a master carpenter and worked alongside his dad, uncle and his brother, Ben.
Bruce was a member of the Lisbon First Christian Church, was an avid hunter, loved woodworking, and tinkering around his house.
In addition to his mother, Nola of Lisbon, Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Marcy L. (Peterson) Carman, whom he married September 28, 1982; daughter, Miranda (Chris) Forstall of New Brunswick, Canada; son, Alex (Jenna) Carman of Lisbon; brother, Ben Carman of Salineville; grandchildren, Nola Forstall, Tyler Forstall, Lily Carman and Wesley Carman; and his nephew, Ben Carman, Jr.
Following his wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
