Charlene M. McClintock

Lisbon-Charlene M. McClintock, 60, of Prospect Street, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at 1:15am, Saturday, May 9, 2015 at her home following a long, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.Charlene was born June 5, 1954 in Ellwood City, PA, a daughter of Rita (Patterson) MacMurdo of Ellwood City and the late George MacMurdo. A 1972 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Rice at Glenmoor Dental.Charlene enjoyed working in her garden and tending to her flowers. She was an avid sports fan, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penquins. But her true passion was watching her grandchildren as they participated in their sporting events.She is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 32 years, Greig E. McClintock, whom she married July 16, 1982. Also left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeremy (Yvonne) Hulick and Lauren Henthorne, both of Lisbon, and Jenny McClintock of Longmont, Colorado; siblings, Barb (Mark) Houk of Ellwood City, George "Mick" MacMurdo of New Mexico, and Dr. Robert "Duke" (Pam) MacMurdo of Ellwood City; granddaughter, Parker Henthorne and grandson, Paxton Henthorne; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Megan McClintock of Pittsford, New York; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her father, Charlene was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandra MacMurdo.Funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev. Joanne Dota, chaplain at Hospice of the Valley officiating.
