LISBON – Charolette (Lane) Davis, 81, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026. She was born in Salem on June 24, 1944, daughter of the late Herman Cy Wellman and Virginia Sell.
Charolette worked as a meter reader for Ohio Edison for many years. She was a member of Lisbon First United Methodist Church. Charolette was also a member of the West Point Lions Club. She loved playing cards.
She leaves behind a granddaughter, Maryssa (Jake) Miller with a great-grandson due in June; two sisters, Linda (David) Todd and Shirley (David) Miller, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, a son, Charles L. Davis and a brother, David Wellman also preceded her in death.
Friends and family will be received from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
