Lisbon-Daniel George Stoffel, 76, passed away peacefully at 9:26am, Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Salem Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
George was born April 5, 1947 in East Liverpool, Ohio, a son of the late Charley and Elizabeth “Betty” (Crawford) Stoffel.

George was a member of the Wellsville Masonic Lodge #180, the Wellsville VFW, and the Wellsville Moose Lodge. He also loved watching old western movies, especially when they starred John Wayne. George never met a stranger and enjoyed just sitting and shooting the breeze while enjoying a nice cold beer.

Funeral services will be held at 8pm, Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Wade Richards officiating.
