David R. Anderson

Rogers-David R. Anderson, 70, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, August 14, 2025 with his loving family at his side.

Mr. Anderson was born April 25, 1955 in East Liverpool, Ohio, a son of the late John and Margaret (Campbell) Anderson

He was an owner/operator truck driver having drove for various local companies, driving lastly for Fillmore Freight Lines. When he was younger, David enjoyed pulling tractors, but he really loved working on semi-trucks and John Deere’s or basically anything with a motor.   

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Kathy L. (Houchin) Anderson, whom he married June 19, 1976; sons, David R. Anderson Jr. and Brian Scott Anderson, both of Rogers; sisters, Peggy Anderson and Sally Anderson, both of Rogers, brother, Jake (Melissa) Anderson of Rogers; grandchildren, Courtney, Davilyn, Jonathan, and Emmy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn “Lee” Banister and his granddaughter, Carley Ann.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
