Columbiana-Doris J. Hoperich, 90, formerly of Lisbon, passed away peacefully Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Parkside Healthcare Center.
Doris was born December 10, 1933 in Ripley, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Clifford and Freda (Stanley) Parrish, and had moved to the Lisbon area in the early 1940’s.
She was a homemaker and loved to bake pies and cookies. She was also a faithful member of the Lisbon First United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Gust T. Hoperich, Jr., whom she married July 25, 1953, preceded her in death November 22, 2005. Doris was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Tori Campsey Hoperich, brothers, Sonny and Keith Parrish, and sisters, Janet Macuich and Jackie Matthews.
She is survived by her three sons, Richard of Lisbon, David (Monica) of Leetonia and Jeffrey (Robin) of Lisbon; grandchildren, Nicole, Todd, Luke, and Benjamin; great grandchildren, Avery and Landry; brother, Ernie Parrish; sisters, JoAnn Morris, Bonnie Brautigam and Debbie Carchedi.
Private funeral services for the family will be held at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery.
