Ellie Rose Mounts

East Rochester- It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter and niece, Ellie Rose, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Akron Children’s Hospital, but we find comfort in knowing that she is resting peacefully in heaven.

Ellie was born September 23, 2024 in Akron, Ohio, the precious daughter of Jordan Kelleher and Rachel Mounts.

Though her time with us was brief, her fiery red hair and fighting spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her.  She will be sadly missed and greatly remembered.

In addition to her parents, she also leaves behind her grandparents, David S. and Roberta Mounts, and Stephen and Jami Kelleher and Chad and Kristen Carter; great grandmothers, Judi Mounts and Joyce Hunzeker, as well as many aunts, uncles, and other family members who all loved Ellie very much.

Ellie was welcomed into heaven by her great grandfather, John Mounts and great grandparents, William and Doris Vince.

A celebration of Ellie’s life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
