Else Ella Gresh

Lisbon- Else Ella Gresh, 97, passed away quietly on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Gresh was born March 18, 1929 in Oelsnitz, Czechoslovakia, a daughter of the late Lukas and Martha (Gläser) Wastl and had lived in the Lisbon area since 1956.

A faithful member of St. George Catholic Church, Else was an avid gardener, enjoyed raising and tending to her flowers, and she loved to travel.

Her husband, Paul J. Gresh, whom she married November 7, 1953, preceded her in death on May 13, 2024.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Martin, and by her brother, Lukas Wastl.

Else is survived and will be dearly remembered by her sons, Paul “Dave” (Debra) Gresh of Lisbon, Robert “Bob” (Carol) Gresh of Calcutta, Kurt (Melanie) Gresh of Lisbon; former-son-law, Robert “Bob” (Laraine) Martin of Leetonia; grandchildren, Carla (Bill) Blocksom of Lisbon, Paul D. (Carla) Gresh of Plymouth, MA, Lori (Matt) Yeager of Fairlawn, Patrick Gresh of Canfield, Jessica (Gary) Hegerle of Moon Twp, PA, Vanessa (Ryan) Fox of Calcutta, Miranda Gresh of Leetonia, Heath (Megan) Martin of Newell, Derek (Heather) Martin of Boyertown, PA, Kaylee Gresh of Norman, OK, and Alyssa Gresh of Oakland, CA., great grandchildren, Taylor, Makenzie, Alexis, Owen, Mila, Micah, Collin, Braedyn, Reventon, Samara, Makenna, Addison, Hunter, Reed, and Nolan; one great-great grandson; and two nephews, Markus and Michael, both of Germany.

Following her wishes, no formal services will be observed.  Private family visitation was held at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
