Lisbon-Eva Marlene Simpson, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026 at her home.
Mrs. Simpson was born October 23, 1938 in Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Herbert and Goldie May (Moss) Grubbs.
After graduating high school, Eva worked at a center for troubled teens and later was the concierge for the Gateway Clipper fleet in Pittsburgh and was also the concierge at the Hyatt Regency. While living in Florida, she served as a chaplain for the VFW Post in Inverness, Florida as a member of the Honor Guard.
Her husband, Robert Lyle Simpson preceded her in death, along with her brothers, Herbert and Sid Grubbs.
She is survived by her son, Eric Simpson, and by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
