Lisbon-Harvey Thomas Richards, 76, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Aultman Hospital in Canton after suffering an apparent heart attack earlier in the day.
Harvey was born December 3, 1948 in Kittanning, PA, a son of the late George W. and Clara “Goldie” (Adams) Richards and had lived in the area most of his life.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Harvey was a hard worker. He worked 22 years as a core maker, retiring from Quaker City Casting in Salem.
He attended the Lisbon Assembly of God Church and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Harvey also loved to work on cars and anything with a motor. But the most important part of his life were his grandchildren, he would do anything for them.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Frances. L. “Fran” (Drohn) Richards, whom he married August 14, 1990; sons, Harvey T. (Jeannie) Richards, Jr and Thomas Richards; brothers, Jerry and Ronald Richards; sister, Gloria (Calvin) Warrick; granddaughters, Madison, Sophia, Hayley and Addison; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Richards, Sr., and by his nephew, Terry Richards, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at West Beaver Cemetery.
The family will receive guests from 5pm to 7pm, Monday at the funeral home.
