Leetonia- Henry J. "Hank" Borch, 87, of Leetonia Rd., passed away at 3:20 pm, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.Mr. Borch was born January 2, 1927 in Parma, Ohio, a son of the late John and Sophia (Wigl) Borch, and had lived most of his life in the area.Hank proudly served our country during WWII as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving as a member of the Horse Calvary. A Catholic by faith, Mr. Borch owned and operated Lisbon Auto Body for many years, before selling the business and retiring in 1969.His wife, Janice (Hanahan) Borch, whom he married January 4, 1948, preceded him in death October 11, 2012. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Chester Borch and by his brother-in-law, William "Bill" Hanahan.He is survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley and Fred Steele of Lisbon and several nieces and nephews.A memorial visitation will be held from 4pm to 6pm, Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. No funeral service will be observed.The family would like to thank Hank's caregiver, Etta Hill and the Staff at Mother's Karing Touch for their loving kindness and care.
