Lisbon-Kenneth R. “Kenny” Haines, Sr., 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Salem Regional Medical Center following a recent illness.
Kenny was born April 14, 1957 in Uniontown, PA, a son of the late Wilber and Katherine (Tate) Haines.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and had worked as a general handyman. He also attended the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the Salem Am Vets.
Kenny is survived and will be dearly missed by his sons, Rob (Julia Ingledue) Walters, Kenneth Haines Jr., and Henry Haines; daughter, Amy (Brian) Kren; his grandchildren, Robbie Walters, Cierra Walters, Brandon Carlisle, David Carlisle, and the light of his world, granddaughter, Faith Walters. He is also survived by his siblings, Bill, Eddie, Bonnie, Lisa and Wanda.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was also preceded in death by his siblings, Larry, Bruce, Chuckie, and Betty.
A time of visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm, Friday, September 19. 2025 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. A military honors service will follow at 1pm, accorded by the Salem Honor Guard. Private burial will then take place at the Lisbon Cemetery.
