Lacey Nicole Higginbotham

Boardman- Lacey Nicole Higginbotham, 34, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Lacey was born June 15, 1991 in Youngstown, a daughter of Connie (Weber) Brandt and Roger K. Higginbotham, Jr.

A 2009 graduate of South Range High School, she previously worked as a cosmetologist and hair coloring specialist at Casal’s de’ Spa and Salon.

Lacey was an avid reader, played the piano when she was younger and developed a love of music, and enjoyed attending concerts.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother and stepfather, Connie and Ray Brandt; her father and stepmother, Roger and Brenda Higginbotham; brothers, Lucus David (Rachel) Higginbotham and Lance Garrett (Sydney) Higginbotham; nephews, Garrett Bradley and David Raymond; niece, Rynlea Claire, and another nephew on the way.  She is also survived by her maternal grandfather, Sidney Weber; paternal grandparents, Roger and Judy Higginbotham, Sr.; stepbrother, Bailey Rhodes; stepsisters, Cassie and Bailey Brandt; her longtime companion, Bruce Cunningham; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members including her beloved cat, Max.

Lacey was welcomed into heaven by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Weber; Aunt Bonnie Weber, Uncle David Weber; and by her dog, Simba.

A funeral service celebrating Lacey’s life will be held at 12pm, Noon on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at  Woodsdale Cemetery.

The family will receive guests from 11am until the time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
