Hanoverton- Larry H. Parks, 68, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, October 19, 2025 surrounded by his family and his dog, Hazelnut.
Larry was born October 16, 1957 in Salem, Ohio, a son of the late Samuel Harlow Parks and Clara J. (Richards) Adams of Columbiana and had lived all of his life in the area.
He had worked as a butcher, a truss maker and then as a machinist with Colfor.
Larry was a Baptist by faith and an avid outdoorsman. The three things he loved most were hunting, fishing and family.
In addition to his mother, he was survived and will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 50 years, Robin (Prendergast) Parks, whom he married, January 26, 1976; his children, Jennifer Chadwick and Andy (Bailey) Parks; grandchildren, Chelsea (Daniel Barcey) Chadwick, Mercedes (Kyle Hanaford) Parks, Christopher Chadwick, Courtney Ann (Cody Oldaker) Parks, Hunter Harlow Chadwick, Samuel (Julie Kallas) Parks, Trinity Grace Chadwick, Vylette Hill, Oliver Green, and Harlow Parks. Larry is also survived by his siblings, Joey Wade Parks, Debbie Windle, Bonnie Jean Marriner, and James Michael Parks.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Ellen Stewart and brother, Kenny Lee Parks.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, October 24, 2025 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at West Beaver Church Cemetery.
The family will receive guests from 11am until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
