Lavina Mae Brown

Lisbon- Lavina Mae Brown, 95, of Black Rd., passed away peacefully at 10:30 pm, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Salem Circle of Care, where she had resided since January 2012.Ms. Brown was born October 31, 1919 in Lisbon, a daughter of the late Robert and Lela (Phillips) Stock.A life resident of Lisbon, Lavina had been a waitress and had worked 19 years as a printing press operator for Frank Tuseck. She was a member of the Lisbon First Christian Church; Christian Women's Fellowship; and was a member of AARP.Lavina will be fondly remembered for her love of growing flowers and sewing.She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Criss and her husband, Thomas of Sebring; her sons, Dale E. Brown and Richard A. Brown and his wife Nancy, both of Lisbon and Lee Brown and his wife, Tauni of Summerfield, Florida; her sister, Lucille Parsons and her husband, George of Columbiana; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Lavina was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Brown; her son, Gerald L. Brown; her grandson, Dale Brown Jr.; her sisters, Betty Randolph and Dorothy Fowler; and by her brother, Clyde W. Stock.Funeral services will be held 11am, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Shoaf of the Lisbon First Christian Church officiating.
