Lena Virginia Frances Turner

Lisbon- Lena Virginia Frances Turner, 86, of State Route 517, passed away at 3:30pm, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.Mrs. Turner was born June 4, 1927 in Virginia, a daughter of the late Herman and Jenny (Peters) Ingram, and had lived in the area all of her life.She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.Her husband, William J. Turner, whom she married March 10, 1973, preceded her in death March 30, 2000.She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Jack) Linville of Calcutta and Debbie (Sam) Adams of New Waterford; sons, Danny (Vicki) Haldiman of Rogers, Jeffery (Diane) Haldiman of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and James "Rusty" (Bernadette) Haldiman of Negley; sisters, Mary Hingle of New York, Mazie Ailer, Daisey Obst, and Betty Altizer, all of Staunton, Virginia; brothers, Gilbert Ingram of Rogers and Paul (Janet) Ingram of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Hubert and James Ingram.Following Lena's wishes, graveside services and burial will take place at 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the East Fairfield Cemetery with the Rev. Pamela Gable officiating. No calling hours will be observed.
