Lisbon-Marilyn A. Borza, 71, passed away quietly on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Continuing Healthcare of Lisbon following a recent illness.
Marilyn was born May 11, 1954 in Salem, a daughter of the late Charles “Red” and Helen (Lederle) Smith.
A graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, Marilyn had worked as a teller and as a cashier at several of our area’s banks. She later became the financial officer of Family Recovery in Lisbon until her retirement in 2021.
Marilyn was a member of St. George Catholic church, and she enjoyed her spare time gardening.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, John Borza, whom she married June 5, 1976; her stepson, Matt (Jessica) Borza of Lisbon; sisters, Barbara Smith and Beverly Smith, both of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Following her wishes, private services will be held at the Lisbon Cemetery Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
