Lisbon-Peggy Lee (Donnalley) Richards Smolira, 69, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Peggy was born June 17, 1954 in Salem, a daughter of the late Howard Donnalley and the late Patsy (Wright) Groff and had lived in the area all of her life.
A graduate of Crestview High School, Peggy worked as a monitor for Christina House for 12 years and prior to that she was a delivery driver for Meals on Wheels. She had also worked as a seamstress.
Peggy was a former member of the Lisbon Eagles and was a member of the APA Pool league and former captain of her team.
She will be dearly remembered for her huge heart and giving spirit, she aways looked for ways to help others in need.
She is survived by her children, Ed (Regina) Richards of Lisbon, and Peggy Ann (John) Green of Glenmoor; siblings, Pat (Kevin) Siebert-May of Columbiana, Penny Donnalley of Austintown, Perry (Wendy) Donnalley of New Waterford, Pam (Mark) Miller of Lisbon, and Mary Ellen Groff of Salem; grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Andy, Alen, Avery, Kimberly, Rachel, and Stacie; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was also preceded in death by her son, Lloyd L. Richards.
Following her wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.
