Stephen C. Toth

Lisbon- Stephen C. Toth, 69, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Stephen was born August 9, 1956 in Salem, a son of the late Louis J. and Elizabeth (Sutcliffe) Toth and was a life resident of the area.

A graduate of United Local High School, he was a truck driver for several local companies before becoming an owner/operator.  He later worked as a maintenance manager for Millwood, Inc, in Vienna, Ohio for 15 years until he retired.

Stephen will be dearly remembered for his love of the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and camping, going to Canada, his annual trips to Florida with his wife, Debbie, and his two dogs, Zoey and Ella.  But most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

It was said “to know him was to love him”. Stephen was a loving, hardworking, and giving person.  This was exemplified by his final act of love and giving the gift of hope and life to others through organ and tissue donation.

He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife of 33 years, Debbie (Lease) Toth; children, Joshua Toth, Ashley Toth, Cody Toth, and Brandi Bailey; grandchildren, Everleigh, Maverick, Jakob, Baylee, Tucker, and Kyle.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Wolfe.

Following his wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
