Sue "Susi" Simballa

Lisbon- Sue A. "Susi" Simballa, 66, of Desellem Rd., passed away at 9:34am, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.Susi was born May 12, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Darhl and Doris (White) Miller, and had lived in Columbiana County all of her life.She was a member of the first graduating class of South Range High School and did clerical work at Deming Pump, Hunt Valve, and for Dr. Rau. She was also a homemaker.A catholic by faith, Susi enjoyed knitting, doing cross stitch, and collecting owls. Although for the past 15 years, the center of her universe has been her granddaughter, Haley.She is survived by her loving husband, Dave Simballa, whom she married February 28, 1987; daughter, Carrie (Austin) Melody of Lisbon; sister, Peg (Tim) Tarasi of Canfield; brothers, Larry Richards of Berlin Center, Dean Richards of Lake Milton, and Bill (Marge) Richards of Diamond, Ohio; and her granddaughter, Haley Melody.Funeral services will be held at 7pm, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Dana Blackburn officiating.
